Culture leaf : Park Guell

Park Guell is one of the most impressive
public parks in the world
The park is located on the hill of El Carmel in
Barcelona and was designed by famous architect Antonio Gaudi
in the years 1900 to 1914 his idea was to build a residential
park intended for sixty single- family residences, though never
fully completed, it still remains one of Gaudi's most colorful
and playful works

Culture leaf : Park Guell

It is one of the largest architectural
works in south Europe
It is part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site
'Works of Antoni Gaudí'
This garden is made of twisted angle iron -
cheap to make, looks good, does not lie about
its material yet its shape is as softly curved
as climbing vines

What's next?

In the next lesson we will see how to talk
about sports in Spanish we will learn the
names of some of the most popular sports
